There are a lot of different electronic systems in the world today. We have internet. We have airline routes. We even have subways. But perhaps the most complicated system in the world is the telephone system. These systems are highly complex, spanning continents, and have one of the most important roles of any system in the world today. They connect everyone to one another! Imagine not being able to talk to your family at all, or your friends perhaps, when you visit another country? Or what about if you have to move there? Then you won’t be able to talk to your family for a very long time, perhaps even forever! This is unacceptable to the world today, and this is why there are phone systems. Often these systems overlap one another. One company will own phone lines in one country, and another company in another country, but they will have to work together to connect everyone who needs to talk!
